Less than 3 months after being an official player for Fluminense FC, Ronaldinho, resigned from his duties. The reason has not yet been released. Assis, Ronaldinho’s manager and brother, confirmed his exit from the club in social media. Later that day Ronaldinho posted on Twitter his farewell to the club supporters; “Thanks to everyone at Fluminense FC. With a lot of respect and gratitude that I say goodbye to this big club”. Ronaldinho is currently free lance on the market and hasn’t received any offers from any clubs so far. He signed his contract early July and played his first official game as a Fluminense FC on August 1st. 7 games later Ronaldinho is no longer part of at the team.
Ronaldinho was going through a rough period at Fluminense FC, he was not getting total support from the supporters, wasn’t playing as he used to and started on the bench for 3 consequitive games. The games he actually started playing he ended up being substituted by the end of the first half.
Ronadlinho later that day posted on Facebook a formal letter thanking the supporters and the club’s executive. He said it was an honor to represent the team for a couple of months and thanked the president, the board members and all of the coaches. Fluminense FC later posted a farewell and thank you letter to Ronaldinho. Marcos Junior should be playing in Ronaldinho’s spot until another player is either signed or a youth player brought to the professional division.
