In
Week 28 of the Campeonato Brasileiro, Vasco da Gama took on Flamengo at the
MaracanĂ£ stadium on Sunday, September 27th! Going into the game Sunday Flamengo
was favored to win the nights match over their opponent Vasco da Gama, but
don't put out their opponent just yet because it was a very close game that
came down to a 1 goal deficit. The team based out of the country's capital
city, Rio de Janeiro, Vasco da Gama
recently against Flamengo hasn't been too well with 3 drawn matches and 2 lost
matches.
The match Sunday
started like any other game would, in about 10 minutes in Flamengo was on their
opponents side of the field and off a cross the field pass they scored in the
11th minute making the score 1-0 in favor of Flamengo. Then Rodrigo a player
for Vasco da Gama, from 26 meters out, puts a ball in net off a free kick
scored in the 35th minute to make the game tied a 1 a piece! Then
the go-ahead goal scored by Nene putting Vasco up 2-1 and that would be the
