Making It Count

https://twitter.com/MLS

Cyle Larin, keep this name in mind! Rookie in the MLS season playing for the Orlando City SC Larin ruled the game yesterday at the Citrus Bowl. On the last home game of the season Larin kept the dream of making to the playoffs alive. Orlando City SC played really well organized and confident, but soccer is a treacherous sport. NYCFC in a corner shot managed to lead the score at the 45’ min. Orlando came back a little slow, seemed like they were giving up and nervous about it. Some supporters complained on how nervous they were, attempting crazy plays seeking a goal. Until 62th minute when Larin received the cross from Winter and headed to corner of the goal leaving no chance for the goalie. The team started to play well organized again, a simple draw wouldn’t be enough for the playoffs. 10 minutes later Winter receives a perfect pass and is face to face with the goal, after a few attempts he crosses and…yes, Cyle Larin once again shaking the net putting Orlando City SC ahead of the game.

Make It Count: ORL v. NYC

http://bit.ly/1Kbvh6s

Make it count! Tomorrow Orlando City SC faces New York City for a spot in the playoffs. Orlando City must win this last regular season home game, but for Orlando’s unfortunate luck they don’t depend only on themselves. With the 3 games left, one more than Orlando, the Montreal Impact is the favorite on taking the spot.
Orlando City is playing without 2 of its main stars, Kaka and Brek Shea, suspended for 3 yellow card on their last game against the Impact. It all falls down to Cyle Larin, Orlando’s rookie of the year, who was been playing on beast mode. Larin scored incredible 15 goals in this season, top striker for both the team and the league.
Orlando City currently holds 41 points in the league and the Impact 42. Orlando needs to win the following next two games and wait on a possible mishap by the Impact, loosing two games or loosing 1 and drawing two games. If Orlando City looses against the New York City there chances decrease drastically. In hopes of still making the playoffs they would need a 3 streak lose by the Impacts.
